Last weekend I made a trip up to Jacksonville, Illinois. While there, I was able to take some time to explore the area. I was first greeted by an interesting graffiti-laden railroad trestle. In particular, the paint-speckled rusting nuts and bolts holding pieces of the trestle together caught my eye.
Not too far past that we stumbled upon an abandoned barn.
Later that night we ended up at a bonfire. Between roasting the hotdogs and toasting (and eating) marshmallows, I was able to get some photos of our fire.
